DRIVERS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MULTIPLE ORGANIZATIONS WILL HAVE THEIR CHOICE TO WHICH THEY COMPETE FOR.

The Summit Racing Equipment “Sanction Shootout” will kick off the 2018 Dirt Modified “MEGA 100” for the Open Wheel division on Thursday night featuring up to ten drivers invited from each of the weekends supporting organizations including the Tyler County Speedway (TCS), American Modified Series (AMS) , the Renegades of Dirt Tour (RoDt), American Motor Racing Association (AMRA), United Emod Series (UEMS), and Dirt Cup Challenge (DCC).

Drivers from each organization respectively could include a who’s who of regional, national, and local talent. Up to 60 cars will be eligible for the event. A $1,000 top prize is on the line as well as a provisional for Saturday nights ‘MEGA 100’ A-Main. Teams that qualify for the feature will be awarded $100.

Full Thursday purse: 1) $1000, 2) $500, 3) $300, 4) $250, 5) $200, 6) $190, 7) $180, 8) $170, 9) $160, 10) $150, 11) $140, 12) $130, 13) $120, 14) $110, 15-18) $100 – No pay for running heat race and not qualifying for feature. (Think of it as a glorified test session for the next few nights, you may also practice after)

Thursdays event is sure to feature some door to door racing action utilizing an entirely pill draw format for the heat races. No passing points. Drivers will be draw for starting spots in the heats with the top ‘x’ amount from each heat transferring into the A-Main. The top two drivers from each heat will also earn a spot in the Dirt Defender Re-draw for the evenings A-Main positions. Only 22 cars will start the ‘Summit Sanction Shootout’. The top three finishing cars from each respective sanction will earn points for their organization with the winning organization earning a commemorative ‘Champion’ trophy.
