Mid East Modified Tour Joins $5,000 To Win, B-Mod Battle Royale!

(Middlebourne, WV) Since news broke race teams and fans have created a media frenzy over the newly released “B-Mod Battle Royale” set to take place on May 30 – June 1 at the Tyler County Speedway during the crown jewel of modified events the Modified MEGA 100 Weekend! The unprecedented Eastern U.S. B-Mod race will feature over $25,000 up for grabs including the richest winners share in region history for the division at $5,000 to win.

When news was released of the all new event shares, likes, and comments came flooding in with interested parties ready to visit the Bullring this June for their shot at the cash. Interest from as far off as Illinois with all regional and local teams eyeing the new challenge. Perhaps a majority of the interest even came from Virginia and North Carolina where the Mid-East 602 Modified Tour calls home. The tour travels to tracks in and around the Carolinas to showcase the fast growing 602 Crate ‘B-Mod’ division.

Furthermore, that buzz led to an agreement between event and series officials that will see the Mid-East Modified Tour become part of the weekend as a ‘bonus sanctioning group’ to the event. The series will participate both days within the event designated rulebook which very closely resembles the current series rules with the exception of the series exclusive GM602 program. However, series officials are in agreement with the event rulebook and its engine guidelines and are beyond excited to come on board as an official sanctioning partner.

The Mid-East 602 Modified Tour will allow their member teams the opportunity to compete during the weekend with the added exposure and chance at the largest prize pool in tour history minus any points penalty in the event a team is unable to travel. The series looks forward to bring a strong contingent to the Middlebourne, WV ¼ mile like 2018 champion Jeff Parsons, Jesse Rockett, Chris Stowe, Jason Wallace and many more to battle the feisty regulars like Travis Thomas, Tom Sigler, Danny Thomas, Casey Ash and more.
